The Run, Fun and Celebrate WeekendConnect with us.

Runners have an early wake up call, but we have your day planned for you!

Not running in the Run Mag Mile Race?!

Sleep in and start your day dancing at 7:45 with Maggie Speaks!

5:00 AM: Wake up, Chicago!

Parking will be tight; you can score a spot ahead of time close to the starting line to avoid the stress of searching for a spot.

The CTA will be increasing early morning train capacity, so you have another option to get to Grant Park without any trouble.

Want to make a staycation out of the weekend? Book your stay now and roll out of bed and to the start line.

6:30 AM: The countdown to the run begins!

Street Corrals for the race open at 6:00 AM. Race participants must enter the race site from Michigan and Jackson, Corrals are along Columbus Drive.

For spectators, we suggest securing a spot on Michigan Avenue. This is the best place to cheer on the runners and watch them as they take on this iconic course.

7:00 AM: The runners are off!

7:15 AM: Cross the finish line to celebrate!

After runners cross the finish line of the races, head to the post-race brunch in Grant Park. What's on the menu? Waffles, sausage, and Eli's Cheesecake.

This is the perfect way to refuel for the rest of the day and celebrate your accomplishment.

7:45 AM: Dance the morning away to the sounds of Maggie Speaks!

The Maggie Speaks cover band will perform at the Goose Island Stage in Grant Park, kicking off Taste of Chicago in the perfect way!

11:00 AM: The Taste of Chicago opens!

Once you make it to Grant Park for the Taste of Chicago, it's time to sample delicious food from over 200 vendors, including everything from Chicago classic deep-dish pizza to tacos to funnel cake. And don't forget to catch some live music until 7:25 pm!

11:00AM-5:00PM: Celebrate 10 Years of Fine Italian Cuisine with Eataly Chicago!

In the evening, head to Pioneer Court at 401 North Michigan Avenue for Eataly Chicago’s pop-up, a celebration of Italian food and culture. Learn how to make classic Italian dishes from the chefs and sample a variety of Italian favorites.
