Out (and About) for Pride Month
There's no time like Summer in Chicago, and there's more than warm weather to celebrate this month. If you are looking for fun things to do during Pride Month beyond the festival in Boystown and the famous (and original!) Pride Parade, head downtown to The Magnificent Mile.

Chicago Pride Weekend consists of a two-day festival and our world-famous parade. The two-day festival takes place along Chicago's famed Halsted strip on Saturday, June 16, 2018 and Sunday, June 17, 2018. The parade takes place along a four-mile route on Sunday, June 24, 2018.

Navy Pier’s 3rd Annual Navy Pier Pride, presented by American Airlines, is set to return with a full day of Pride activities along the lakefront. Free and open to the public, this family-friendly event is the largest Pride celebration in Chicago outside of the Lakeview neighborhood.

As an advocate for the arts since its inception in 1910, The Blackstone is continuing to support Chicago’s artist community with local LGBTQ artist showcases “Creations & Libations” at the hotel in celebration of Pride Month. Chicagoans and art enthusiasts can enjoy the final gallery pop-up in The Blackstone’s lobby from Center on Halsted with artists Adam Thomas and David Joseph on Thursday, June 21 from 5 – 7 PM.
The hotel is offering complimentary bubbly to kick off the celebratory events, and guests can also enjoy a 1960's-inspired cocktail for purchase at Timothy’s Hutch, the lobby cocktail bar. Guests are also invited to visit The Blackstone’s Art Hall to see the works by Chicago artists currently on display in the rotating, public art gallery.
