Open House Chicago: Explore Chicago's Architectural Wonders

This weekend, residents and visitors of Chicago alike can experience the city's most iconic buildings and architectural marvels. Free to the public, discover the history of Chicago with a day of amazement and fun! 

9:00 am  

Get a great start to your morning with breakfast at Ed Debevic’s. One of Chicago’s most famous diners, be transported back to the 1950s with a little twist. Ed’s is known for its snarky service with all meals served with a side of sass. Try their specialties with Avocado Toast, The All-American Skillet, and of course Biscuits and gravy.  

10:00 am 

Ready...Set...Go. Start your journey for Open House Chicago 2023. Download the app Chicago Architecture Center to find a neighborhood you want to explore or a site you wish to visit. You can add all your bucket list places to your itinerary and even find directions. You’ll also find themed tours such as 77 Flavor Picks, The Obamas in Hyde Park, The Murals of Pilsen, and so many more. All are available and you can follow along on the app. 

2:00 pm 

Now that you have done some exploring in the Windy City, it’s time to warm up and indulge in afternoon tea! Experience The Ritz-Carlton Chicago’s Spooky Tea with a curated selection of teas and Halloween-themed finely cut sandwiches, teacakes, and exquisitely presented pastries.   

6:00 pm 

After your whirlwind day of sightseeing, it’s time to add to the fun! Head over to Flight Club, the home of Social Darts. Enjoy an experience that brings you and your loved ones together for unexcepted, ridiculous joy. Be sure to head downstairs to Ace Bounce for Ping Pong and specialty drinks before you end your night!
