Free Days at the Museum!

  • Art Institute of Chicago

    January 9 - February 16, 2017

    Illinois residents can enter the acclaimed Art Institute of Chicago for free on weekdays. The deal applies during all hours of operation Monday through Friday.

    The museum already offers free admission to Illinoisans on Thursday nights and Chicagoans ages 14 to 17 years old now get free admission thanks to a generous donation.

  • The Field Museum

    January 4, 5, 16, 28, 29, 30; February 1 - 28, 2017

    The Field Museum’s ever popular “Free Days” are back for the first part of 2017. Illinois residents will receive free basic admission on specific dates at the beginning of the New Year, including Free February. A 74-dollar savings for a family of four, Free Days are an opportunity for visitors to discover—or rediscover—the wonders of the Museum, which contains one of the world’s most extensive natural history collections.

  • Brookfield Zoo

    January - February, 2017, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    General admission is free at Brookfield Zoo on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. There are several indoor exhibits to keep you warm, and Zoo Chars from park staff provide information about the animals throughout the day.

    Parking is just $11 and the Metra has a zoo stop.
