A pop-up bar celebrating Chicago and all its timeless glory.
The Chicago Athletic Association hotel is ecstatic to announce the latest installment of its “Mini-Bar” series – a recurring hotel take-over of themed pop-up bars – The Dive.
This neighborhood-inspired watering hole will live inside the hotel’s former pool, welcoming respectable folk and well-meaning ruffians alike to experience a sense of familiarity, grit, and mischievousness akin to their favorite local haunt, typically unseen on Michigan Ave. The Dive visitors can expect everything beloved in a late-night Chicago bar. Sip on a Goose Island beer, knock back a shot, or class it up with a signature Cindy’s cocktail. Then enjoy a cupboard full of board games, arcade machines, and engaging programming each night – from trivia and bingo to themed DJ nights. Don’t forget to squeeze in the photobooth to capture those memories that otherwise – let’s be honest – might’ve remained blurry.
After celebrating opening weekend on Saturday, August 5 – Sunday, August 6, the bar will re-open its doors each Friday and Saturday night from 5pm-10pm(ish) through August 26, always cover-free.
