Young People’s Poetry Day: Poetry & Science featuring Joyce Sidman

Celebrate National Poetry Month with a family-friendly open house at the Poetry Foundation.

This annual free event for youth and their caregivers at the Poetry Foundation features a reading by Joyce Sidman, refreshments, a poetry scavenger hunt, crafts, and poetry writing. Sidman's published work includes The Girl Who Drew Butterflies and Dark Emperor and Other Poems of the Night, a Newbery Honor Book.

Please note, the Poetry Foundation is open only to youth and their caregivers during this event.
