WTTW presents Community Cinema in partnership with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. Attend a free screening and discussion about an award-winning documentary every third Saturday of the month.

The Chinese Exclusion Act is a documentary by Ric Burns and Li-Shin Yu. The film explores the important connections between the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act. The only federal legislation in United States history ever to single out and name a specific race and nationality for exclusion. Join the Chicago Cultural Center for the screening and great discussion.
