Educational Fun for Kids Ages 6 through 12 in December and January
Parents looking for a fun and engaging activity for their children to do during the upcoming winter school break are invited to register for Brookfield Zoo’s Winter Zoo Camp. Open to 6- to 12-year-olds, camp days will take place on weekdays beginning Tuesday, December 26, and continue through Friday, January 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The flexible schedule allows parents to register their kids for just one day or multiple days. The cost is $75 per day (zoo members pay $65).In addition to arts and craft activities, and traditional camp games and songs, the sessions will feature animal adventures. Throughout the two weeks, campers will have the opportunity to visit the zoo’s animal habitats, including attending a Dolphins in Action, getting up-close experiences with animals at Hamill Family Wild Encounters and Hamill Family Play Zoo, as well as taking a spin on The Carousel.
