During a step by step guide to food presentation, Travelle’s Pastry Chef Danielle Marelli leads a plating workshop at Travelle. Basing her creations on specific artistic themes, Chef Danielle will discuss latest trends, techniques, and tips!
During the class, participants learn the art of beautiful plate presentation while enjoying a three-course meal prepared in combination by Chef de Cuisine Jeff Vucko and Pastry Chef Danielle.
The photogenic brunch begins with the brand-new Skillet Cinnamon Bun for class participants to glaze, plate, photograph, and enjoy. Piping bags with frosting will be set out so guests can capture action shots while icing and plating the cinnamon rolls.
For the second course, guests have a choice of Salad Du Marche: chef’s special creation from the day’s Green City Market findings; Chicken & Waffles with a sunny side up egg, bacon, and B&B pickles; or Avocado Toast with two poached eggs, heirloom tomatoes, and radish. Brunch concludes with Strawberries and Mascarpone Crème served with lime- and basil-marinated strawberries, hibiscus, and pistachio gelato.
Focusing on improving plating skills for home entertaining and social media purposes, the interactive and informative class gives participants the tools necessary to skillfully present their dishes.
