In honor of Women’s History Month, The Talbott Hotel and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago welcome Chicago-based artist and cartoonist Jessica Campbell for an intimate lecture and conversation, moderated by MCA Curatorial Assistant, Nina Wexelblatt. Campbell will speak about her first solo museum exhibition currently on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in which she re-envisions the life and artwork of Emily Carr (1871-1945), one of Canada’s most renowned landscape painters. This event is open to the public. The MCA Store will host a pop up at the event selling two books by Campbell: XTC69 and Hot or Not: 20th Century Male Artists. Campbell's exhibit at the MCA runs through July 7.
