The Northman Beer and Cider Garden is an outdoor seasonal venue which opens April through the end of October each year. We have OFFICIALLY OPENED for the 2023 Season!! Please check social media for unforeseen closures due to inclement weather.
The Northman brings the feel of a traditional European beer garden to Chicago's stunning Riverwalk. Featuring draft beer & cider with local and international options available on 16 taps. Make sure to try The Northman’s own Rose & Pub Ciders, both are offered on draft and perfect for sipping on that lazy hazy Chicago afternoon or evening. Serving over 50 canned and bottled local and global options, offerings include beer, cider, hard seltzer, Kombucha, wine and premium cocktails. Grab a drink and a bite from the Food & Beverage Hut, grab a spot by the river, sit back and enjoy the Riverwalk in this relaxing dog and kid-friendly environment.
Free live music plays daily from the Pergola Stage from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day. The Northman is also introducing a NEW MONTHLY DJ Series, featuring a live DJ spinning on the 1st Thursday of each month (June - Sept). Check their website for full listings. No reservations necessary! Just come on down and grab yourself a spot!
