In celebration of Sofitel Wine Days, the newly renovated Le Bar will be throwing a “silent party” hosted by French Tuesday featuring Canard-Duchêne Champagne.
What is a “silent party”? Here’s how it works: Partygoers get headphones at the door. There are three DJs playing music at the same time, but the only way to hear it is by turning on the electronic headphones. Listeners can flip through three different color-coded channels and see what others are listening to.
Entry to French Tuesdays is invite only by the French Tuesday group and drinks are available via cash bar. French Tuesdays is a nationwide social movement started in 2003 and is known as a high end social networking phenomenon. To attend the party, someone must be a French Tuesdays’ member.
