Shoreline Sightseeing Offers Special Lake Tours from Buckingham Avenue Dock during Taste of Chicago.
It’s an annual tradition! Shoreline Sightseeing has been offering a special version of its popular Classic Lake Tours during Taste of Chicago for over 35 years. While taste attendees can enjoy sampling from a vast array of restaurant booths, food trucks and pop-ups, they can also take a break on a relaxing, 30-minute Shoreline Lake Michigan cruise. These special lake tours depart from Shoreline’s Buckingham Fountain dock directly across from the Taste of Chicago grounds in Grant Park and easily accessed via the stoplight at Buckingham Fountain and Lake Shore Drive.
Tickets for these special lake tours are sold on-site only and are available at Shoreline’s Taste of Chicago booth near Columbus Drive and Congress manned by Shoreline staff in bright orange shirts. Tickets will also be available dockside before boarding.
Shoreline's special Classic Lake Tours will offer frequent departures daily 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during Taste of Chicago.
