Kim is among the first female poets to receive the prestigious Midang Literary Award, and her work is translated into many languages, including Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish.
Don Mee Choi, the Whiting Award–winning author of The Morning News Is Exciting and Hardly War, translated several of Kim’s collections, including "I’m OK, I’m Pig!" and "Poor Love Machine."
The event include readings from Daniel Borzutzky, Rachel Galvin, Johannes Göransson, and Joyelle McSweeney.
