Celebrate Chinese New Year by learning how to play traditional music with Yang Wei, artist-in-residence at the Chinese Fine Arts Association.
Yang Wei will play the pipa, otherwise known as the Chinese lute, while the audience will get a tutorial on how to play the instrument using GarageBand on the iPad to play the digital version.
The Sound-of-Wishes ensemble will later perform on a guzheng, a 21-stringed zither, as calligrapher Yijun Hu draws to the music using iPad and Apple Pencil.
