Jazz returns to LondonHouse Chicago during April Brunch Series.
This April, LondonHouse Chicago brings jazz back to the historic building with a Jazz Brunch Series paying homage to the London House restaurant and jazz club – housed on the ground floor of the hotel’s London Guarantee and Accident Building from 1946 to 1975. Partnering with Happy Medium Ventures, the brunch series at the hotel’s tri-level restaurant and rooftop venue invites Chicagoans to explore the past of the iconic Chicago building, while enjoying live jazz music and reimagined brunch eats.
Live music performed by variety of local Chicago jazz artists will serenade guests and transport them back in time. Performers throughout the month include the Casey Myles Trio, Petra, Patrick Jasper, and the Loyola Academy Jazz Band.
Executive Chef Jacob Verstegen crafts a special menu of jazzy brunch eats for the series, including dishes such as Short Rib Hash Browns ($12) with creamed nettles, spring garlic, braised short rib, and a fried egg and Smoky Biscuits and Gravy ($10)―redeye gravy, chicken-fried-chicken, and housemade scotch honey. Brunch-goers with a sweet tooth can enjoy the Coffee & Donuts ($8), a twist on a classic with chocolate chicory mousse and whipped cream.
Reservations to Jazz Brunch Series can be made via OpenTable, by calling (312) 253-2317, or by emailing rsvp@londhonhouse.com
