An afternoon full of activities and performances geared toward children and their families with a Lantern Parade around the market plaza while singing German and American Christmas carols as Christkind leads the parade.
Kinder Tag's Schedule of Events:
- 3-4 pm: Paper Source holiday card make and take for kids in the Grand Timber Haus. Stop by and make your holiday card for free
- 2-4 pm: Chicago's own Christkind visits the market
- 4-5 pm : Lantern Parade registration
- 5 pm: Lantern Parade
- 5:30 pm: Goodie Bag pick up for participants
Registration begins at 4pm at which time paper lanterns can be constructed for free onsite or lighted lanterns purchased for $10. Alternatively, lanterns may be brought from home.
