At Juniper Spirits & Oysters, the new seafood-centric restaurant at Claridge House Chicago, pooches are just as important as their human moms and dads.
In August and September, Juniper celebrates the special bond between dog owners and their furry best friends with evenings of Poochie Portraits – a chance to snap a complimentary professional photo with your pup, for Instagram or the living room wall. Guests who attend the event at Juniper’s dog-friendly Dearborn Street patio can enjoy Chef Felipe Patron’s menu of sophisticated, yet approachable fare and Mixologist Nic Nye’s botanical cocktails. A percentage of proceeds from the Poochie Portraits events benefit PAWS Chicago.
Humans aren’t the only ones who get to indulge in delicious eats and drinks. Juniper also offers a special menu of doggie cocktails, made with all-natural, pet-friendly ingredients. The cocktails for canines, created by Oxford Hotels & Resorts’ Piers Smyth, include the CharDOGnay, the MalBARK, the HefeWOOFen, and the DOG Perignon. A chef-driven puppy treat menu will also be available for hungry hounds.
