Hairy Who?

The six young artists who exhibited together as the Hairy Who—Jim Falconer, Art Green, Gladys Nilsson, Jim Nutt, Suellen Rocca, and Karl Wirsum—shook up the 1960s Chicago art scene with their funny, irreverent, and provocative works. Explore the group’s unique aesthetic with this video, and get to know each of the artists better when Hairy Who? opens this Wednesday.
