ACME Hotel Company partners with Free Chicago Walking Tours for Immersive "Instagrammable" Walking Tour
Forget stuffy museums or the standard architecture strolls and get lost in the beauty of Chicago’s urban jungle on the new Off the Grid Tour launching Saturday, October 27. Hosted by ACME Hotel Company and Free Chicago Walking Tours, the immersive walking tour showcases some of the city’s most Instagrammable spots including the Pink Flamingo Wall at Flamingo Rum Club, Death Alley and the Tiffany Glass Dome at the Chicago Cultural Center, among others. The full list of tour stops includes:
- ACME Hotel
- Flamingo Rum Club
- Chicago Riverwalk at Clark St. Bridge
- L Train crossing above Lake St.
- Standing Beast Monument at James R. Thompson Center
- Death Alley
- Chicago Theatre
- Macy's Clocks
- Third Floor Tiffany Glass Dome at the Chicago Cultural Center
Building on ACME Hotel’s motto “Do Your Thing” the Off the Grid Tour encourages attendees to spark their creative sides and capture images in front of some of the city’s most artistic backdrops for photos to stun their followers. This walking tour partnership is the first of its kind for the hip boutique hotel.
The complimentary guided tour is available to locals and guests alike and leaves from ACME’s lobby every Saturday at 10 a.m. Attendees can also start the tour with a warm beverage or a snack from West Town Bakery located inside ACME Hotel.
