The Friday Art Markets returns to Chicago’s Daley Plaza and begins on Friday, May 19th and continues into the summer months. Set under the world famous 50-foot tall Picasso sculpture in the heart of Chicago’s Loop, the Friday Art Markets provide a wonderful opportunity for the public to view and purchase art in the beautiful and bustling outdoor setting. Produced by Amdur Productions, close to 75 juried artists will be showcasing their work in a variety of mediums including jewelry, ceramic, sculpture, paintings, glass, wearables, wood, mixed media and much more. For 34 years, Amdur Productions, a nationally acclaimed arts festival production company, has organized and directed many of the country’s most prestigious juried art festivals including the Gold Coast Art Fair, the Port Clinton Art Festival, Millennium Art Festival, Artfest Michigan Avenue, and the West Loop Art Fest. The Friday Art Markets are free and takes place from 8 am to 6 pm on May 19th, June 9th, July 14th and August 4th.
