Free Rein, a contemporary American brasserie adjacent to the hotel, St. Jane Chicago. The restaurant aims to create all-day energy with elevated fare, showcasing seasonal New American cuisine in a French-inspired atmosphere with Michelin-starredchef Aaron Lirette at the helm of the kitchen.
Free Rein will host multiple gathering spaces including a restaurant, bar, cafe and private dining room. Inspired by the raucous fun of early French breweries, the space plans to build a lively, communal environment with all-day dining. Free Rein will combine French influence with New American style, embracing the liberties of its culinary team to spark new energy into old world familiarities. The menu will be technique-driven, drawing inspiration from the culinary teams’ fine dining background, and will place a distinct focus on sourcing from Midwest purveyors. The pastry program will be lead by Pastry Chef Evan Sheridan and will include light, seasonal desserts to round out the meal on a refreshing note.
