Dyeing the Chicago River

Come enjoy the traditional dyeing of the Chicago River for the city's St. Patrick's Day celebration!

Scheduled for 9:00 am, Saturday March 11, 2017 the dyeing can be best viewed from the East side of Michigan Avenue, the West side of Columbus Drive,  or upper and lower Wacker Drive between Michigan Avenue and Columbus Drive.

Public Transportation options are available.

The Parade follows the river dyeing and steps off at noon on Columbus Drive and Balbo and proceeds north. There is a viewing stand near Buckingham Fountain. The Parade will be broadcast LIVE this year by ABC-Channel 7!
