Coach, the American House of Leather, has been establishing itself as the epitome of “American Cool” since 1941. It all began in a Manhattan leather workshop with 5 leather artisans committed to leather innovation while preserving old-world techniques passed down through generations. Inspired by the rich patina and supple yet durable leather of an American baseball glove, our glove tanned leather was born and is still used in today. 

For over 75 years, we have been handcrafting leather goods. All artisanal details and hardware are hand-placed and quality tested for strength and wear. Not only are we proud of our history and commitment to quality, we are also proud of our position in forefront of the fashion industry led our by our creative director, Stuart Vevers. Since the debut of his first collection in 2014, Vevers has started a new conversation about our 75 year old house of leather, positioning Coach as a credible, coveted house of Fashion. Defined by a free-spirited, all-American attitude, Vevers approaches design with a modern vision, reimagining luxury for today with an authenticity and innovation that is uniquely Coach.
