The Chicago Flower & Garden Show® presented by 811 Chicago and Peoples Gas treats gardening enthusiasts and newbies alike to the sights, scents and sounds of feature gardens throughout the Festival Halls of Navy Pier, March 18 - 22.
Whether you are an accomplished gardener, just looking to learn how not to kill your houseplants or looking for a great family outing the 2020 Chicago Flower & Garden Show has it all.
The 2020 theme “20/20 FOCUS ON FLOWERS" is in collaboration with The Get Growing Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating the next generation of gardeners.
Together small businesses, skilled-labor unions, industry professionals, authors, sponsors and talented friends of the Show (far too many to mention) have invested in this year’s theme, to bring the beauty of flowers (more than 800+ varieties - 80 varieties of tulips alone!), art and design together for an amazingly creative and unforgettable show. New gardens include, American Quilter’s Society, I&M Canal, Plant Truck Chicago, Foucs on Spring, Zen Garden, Plan the Perfect Parkway and the Trail Marker Tree garden.
Our team worked tirelessly with the independent landscape companies (who pay for) and build their feature gardens, our major corporate partners 811 Chicago, Peoples Gas, Wintrust NPL, Greeley and Hansen, Subaru, KS Energy, Electric Conduit Construction, Nicor and Xfinity.
With more than 75 educational programs, the show inspires gardening enthusiasts and newcomers alike while providing an opportunity to talk with industry professionals, see the latest gardening trends and plant varieties for 2020 and so much more. This year’s trends include: small space design - intimate nuances within planting beds and containers, edible gardening, houseplants, native plants & grasses and a renewed and expanded kids activity garden!
