Hear the story of the Chicago Riverwalk on June 20 or August 5 from Michelle Woods, a CAC docent, and City of Chicago project manager!
Located on the south bank of the Chicago River, the Chicago Riverwalk is a bustling strip of recreation between Lake Michigan and the confluence of the river’s north and south branches at Wolf Point. This presentation covers the history of the Chicago Riverwalk project and highlights some features of this unique park—at the bottom of a “canyon” of world-famous architecture.
