Illinois’ Largest Outdoor Art Festival Returns the Last Weekend of August
The 35th Port Clinton Art Festival, Highland Park’s renowned summer event, returns to the city center with even more prestigious offerings this year. More than 300 of the world’s most celebrated artists come together to showcase their work over the course of the weekend, creating an atmosphere brimming with creativity. Alongside established artists, a youth art division celebrates the talents of young artists ages 18 and under, offering them the opportunity to participate, exhibit, and experience the inner workings of an art festival. Live music featuring Cirrus Falcon, kid-friendly activities, artist demonstrations, and booth chats to learn more about the artists and their work, make the award-winning Port Clinton Art Festival one of the country’s most popular! The Taste of Highland Park, which runs Friday through Sunday, offers guests an opportunity to sample delicious food from a variety of Highland Park restaurants and neighboring communities.
