Color

Splash into the season with summer’s newest trend in denim. Shop for shades that are soft and pale with distressed wear throughout. Black and white sustain as the key base colors for this season as well. Purple explodes onto your favorite pieces this summer varying in shades of lovely lavenders and lilacs. For that hint of summer sun, add touches of vivid orange, bright magenta and cool turquoise hues to any ensemble.

Prints

Floral prints burst into bloom once again. From simple sketched sprigs to delicate tea roses, girlish daises, vibrant azaleas and lush, exotic hibiscus. Polka dots, five-pointed stars and graphic stripes have a new grown-up glamour. Preppy rugby-shirt dresses are the new downtime favorite.

Fabrics

This summer, think calm, cool and confident. Renew your everyday with dresses and skirts in satin, silk and chiffon. Create soft silky layers as you let your true beauty shine this summer season. Jersey knit dresses are the luxe answer to everyday casual. On these hot summer days, cool down in light linen shirts, skirts and dresses in whites and neutrals that compliment summer’s dazzling colors and prints.

Details and Silhouettes

This summer, look for softly structured suits that create sharp shoulders, natty waistcoats and slim tapered trousers. Summer skirts are both short and full but cinched at the waist and cut high at the hem. Accentuate your outfit with an adorably snug cropped jacket to flaunt your feminine physique. For those decorative extras look for sunray pleats, prints and pockets to add that additional touch of volume.
