Public Transportation
Public transportation is an easy and affordable way to traverse the city and The Magnificent Mile. Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) buses and the elevated and subway trains will take you from one end of the city to the other in no time.

Taxi Cabs
Taxi cabs are plentiful and easy to catch along The Magnificent Mile. In Chicago , you pay the amount shown on the taximeter, plus any tolls. The meter should start at $1.90, then increase $1.60 for every mile, or $2.00 for every six minutes of waiting time. Trolley
Enjoy the sights of The Magnificent Mile from one of our trolleys while your driver gives an entertaining and informative tour of the area. Hop on and off at several locations along The Magnificent Mile for a little shopping or a bite to eat. Pick up the trolley on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Pearson Street in front of the Water Tower Pumping Station or at 401 North Michigan Avenue next to the Chicago River .
