12 Ways to Green by ComEd
This year ComEd has launched 12 Ways to Green, a campaign to encourage customers and ComEd to work together to reduce energy bills and help the environment at the same time.
Rising electricity prices and global climate change are issues we all face. ComEd wants to provide tools to better manage energy use and have a positive impact on the planet.
This initiative is part of a comprehensive environmental strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the carbon footprint of Exelon, its subsidiaries and customers. If ComEd customers follow the 12 Ways to Green, they could reduce their annual carbon footprint by about 4,000 pounds. Every three people that reduce their carbon footprint by this amount will take the equivalent of one car off the road.
The 12 Ways to Green will highlight new energy efficiency programs as well as other activities to educate customers on energy conservation and saving money on their bills.
